I Think I can... Getting Organized... To Do List

Well... It's been another morning of not getting up on time.  I may have to rethink the wake up time I am not 100% sure I can pull a 4:30 wake up.  hmmm

At any rate today is going more smoothly than yesterday!

Yesterday's got done:

  • one load of Laundry put away ( in a house where there are 5 people making dirty laundry)  Laundry is pretty much a daily event around here.
  • Made a list of things that need to be getting done better ( went over during dinner... more on that in a minute)
  • Cleaned my desk (It looks so much better now and I can find what I am looking for!  Yippee!
  • I posted about my to do list
Pretty much not a lot on my to do list got done... but a few things off the list were done.  For instance a major dishes disaster when someone didn't do the chore they were set.  Took me most of the day to get the dishes and kitchen cleaned up.  Anyway...

Today's To Do List:
  • Call and reschedule Baby Check up ( I did manage to get all of the upcoming events entered into the calendar this morning and realized I have to reschedule this)
  • Go to Bank - could wait until tomorrow
  • Clean out Frig
  • Make chore list - and check off list for what a clean kitchen looks like
  • Meal Planning - Coupons to go with
  • Start some Laundry
  • Blog
  • Post some pics for Photography on Facebook and on photo blog
  • Call on CPR and First Aid classes for daycare certification
  • If time clean bathrooms
I think I can get all of this done and  if my back holds up (I'm over 6 months prego and do daycare - a lot of bending over etc.  Not so good for this Mamma 's back)  I am praying for my back to hold up and for a smooth day of getting things done.

On a completely separate note.  Our little Family Meeting Ended with me yelling... at the teenager in the house... the person who had not done chores set... Let's just say that the button that was pushed was extremely sensitive.  Teenager attitude on top of very tired Mamma that spend most of the day trying to fix what was not done.  Excuses of I was tired (from Wrestling practice and training) really doesn't fly!  This Mamma is in constant back pain and tired is a all the time thing so that was the worst possible thing to say.  I ended my lovely yelling fit with you do the job until the d*** job is done!  I then left the table.  Not one of my most proud mothering moments.  Yes, he had it coming... Yes, It needed to be said... No, I didn't need to loose my temper and yell at him the way I did!  So, I vow to try to not loose it again.  I really need a lot of grace in the area right now.  Tired Mamma's and Teenage attitudes do not mix well!  :-)

That's all for now!

I Think I Can... Getting Organized... Today's to do List

Well... Today has not gone as planned.  That is putting it mildly!  I had planned on posting this this morning before I got the kids up for school.  That didn't happen... I apparently thought I needed more sleep.  I've tried numerous times through out the day to post and each time... no go... Oh, Well!  It's 4pm here, but I am still going to post because this is something I am starting to do to help me see the progress in my day.  Also, I want to share some of the things I do to help plan that help me stay organized and help me get everything that I have to do done.

My plan is to make my to do list for the next day the night before and then see how much I can get done the next day.  I have a problem with setting way more to get done than I can possibly do in a day.  So, I am going to try to be realistic!

Today's To Do List:
Put away clean laundry
Start cleaning dirty laundry
Make a list of things to go over in tonights Family Meeting
Make updated chore list
Clean my desk including the bills folder
Post to Blog and Facebook
Blog Blog and Shows
Clean out Frig
Clean Bathrooms
Coupons for meal planning
Call about CPR and First Aid Class

Funny now that I am looking at this there is no way I could have gotten all of this done in a day and I have been feeling discouraged all day because I felt like I couldn't get anything done.  LOL

I plan to include a piece starting tomorrow on how I did the day before and what my to do's are for that day.  I think this will help in the getting and staying organized.

That's all for now~

Back to School 2013

Howdy Everyone!

So, this is a few days late... this prego lady is running out of gas these days.  I have decided I have to plan better and smarter on what I can accomplish in a day.  Me and my stubborn self did so much yesterday that I could hardly walk by the end of the day!  Ya real smart!  Anyway, I have some plans on being able to get what I want do and what needs to be done in a more balanced way.

Cody at breakfast

Cody is so excited for 1st Grade!

My boys!

Monday was the first day of school for my kiddo's.  Cody was very excited to start First Grade and at a new school since we had moved at the end of last year.
This little boy loves to pose for pictures!

This boy is growing up so fast!
Caelan is a Sophmore this year he was excited... to get to see his friends. LOL He is doing good at getting up and ready with out any drama.  I guess this Mamma needs to learn to let go during the summer and let him be a teenager...

Garrett kept asking if he was going to school.  We told him he was staying home for school and his teacher is Mrs. Mamma! LOL  He is such a smartie.

Love the face in this one! LOL

Cuties!  Garrett had to be in the pic too!

Cody insisted I had to get my picture too!

We are doing great on the getting ready in time for when we need to go.  In fact they have been ready with time to spare and they drive me crazy for 15 min until it's time to go.  Oh, well better then running around like chickens with our heads cut off.

Love these boys
Aww so sweet!

I am excited for the new year and all that it holds.  I am so proud of my boys and I know they will do great this year!
